Taking a Play Break!
Lord I was having such a hard time today
staying on task that I finally just took a break
to make something.....
I just wanted to make something, anything LOL!
I had bought some bird eggs long while back
with the thought
of making my own birds nest.
I always love to try making things myself.
I had all this shredded book page paper sitting
here from making angel wings, and....
I had this thought to make a nest out of them.
So......I did!
Now I had planned on mixing some moss and twigs
with the shredded paper, but before I wasted all that,
I thought I would see if how I had planned
on doing it in my mind, would work first.
So I got out my stiff stuff, and the shredded
paper, soaked the paper, then shaped it like a nest.
I then plopped it over the top of a bottle and let it
dry over night. And it worked...it was stiff as a
board and it looked like a nest...kinda a sorta anyway!
I added the little blue eggs and I thought.....not bad!
Then I put it in my cupcake glass dome....
and then thought...it needs a bird too!
I had the perfect sweetie to sit on the eggs
and she was just the right size!
Well kinda....I need to make a bigger nest
I think....but now that I see the paper and
stiff stuff was going to do what I wanted,
I'll make a bigger one with the moss, twigs and paper!
We'll see how that comes out!
Not to bad for a first time around idea!
Well now that that is out of my system
it's back to my main focus working on my next
"GIVEAWAY!"
